  24. Changes in StuffIt Converter 3.0.2

  27. • Correctly converts archives containing files with duplicate names
  28.     - files are renamed with .1, .2, etc.
  29. • Properly deletes the contents of the temporary folder that it uses
  30.     -- this will keep "extra" files from ending up in archives
  31. • No longer arbitrarily truncates the name of an archive
  32. • No longer deletes the original file UNTIL it has successfully converted it
  33.     -- you may now see a •TEMP• file while the conversion is taking place
  34. • No longer attempts to convert a 3.0 archive
  35. • Properly displays a message about any archive that it can not convert
  36.     -- encrypted CP, older encrypted/optimized StuffIt, etc.

  44. At this time, StuffIt Converter does not allow you to cancel the entire
  45. conversion process — only a single file at a time.

  49. StuffIt Converter's interface for file selection does not match that
  50. described in the documentation.

  52. Support for Binhex
  53. ------------------
  54. Although the documentation says it will, StuffIt Converter does not
  55. support conversion of binhex encoded files.
